On Saturday, March 29, SWE held our annual Engineers Ball with a theme “Under the Stars”! Students dressed in formal attire celebrating their dedication this past year with music, food, and a variety of activities. All proceeds from donations will go to Helping Mamas, an organization serving to help women by providing hygienic products and diapers.
The Society of Women Engineers is a collegiate and professional international community of women who strive to Aspire, Advance, and Achieve in STEM fields. Since its establishment in 1958, Georgia Tech Society of Women Engineers has actively given women engineering students a unique place and voice within the engineering industry. Our organization is centered around a passion for our members’ success and continues to evolve with the challenges and opportunities reflected in today’s engineering and technology specialties.
