President

Anika Adkar is a 4th Year Chemical Engineer Major. As President Anika helps SWE members find a home in SWE and helps our organization run smoothly! Anika is passionate about fostering an inclusive and supportive community where every member of can thrive, grow, and make lasting connections.

VP Memberships

Alex Cabrera is a 4th Year Industrial Engineering student. Alex works on growing SWE’s supportive and welcoming community, creating a alumni speaker series, and expanding recruitment initiatives and fostering social connections.

VP Administration

Sayonee Das is a 1st Year Masters Mechanical Engineering major. As VP Admin, Sayo works to enhance the conference and awards experiences for members. Sayo is committed to improving the conference and awards experience for all members and ensuring that SWE remains a welcoming and empowering space for everyone.

VP of Finance

Tanvi Shanbhag is a 4th year Computer Science major. Tanvi keeps GT SWE on track with finances, ensuring the club stays on budget. Tanvi has a focus on fundraising, simplification of finanical processes, and making sure every GBM is catered and that SWEeties have Tuesday Night Dinners to look forward to!

VP of Communication

Vicky Grimes is a 4th Year Civil Engineering Major. As VP of Communication Vicky works to maintain a cohesive marketing strategy for SWE, showcasing diverse content and the benefits SWE provides to the Georgia Tech community.

VP of Outreach

Jaila Kimbro is a 3rd Year Computer Engineering minoring in Public Policy. As of VP Outreach, Jaila works to expand SWE’s community service, strengthen SWE’s involvement in the local community, and foster collaboration with other Atlanta SWE chapters.

VP of Youth Programs

Mika Spivey is a 4th Year Biomedical Engineer. She aims to strengthen SWE’s connections with local schools and host events to inspire young women while equipping them with STEM skills. Mika is dedicated to offering students engaging opportunities to enhance both academic and professional growth.

VP of Technical Development

Ashika Shrivastava is a 4th Year Biomedical Engineering Student. She works to introduce new technical skills to SWE by collaborating with GT organizations and corporate sponsors. Ashika is dedicated to create opportunities for every SWEetie to strengthen their technical expertise through engaging and impactful events.

VP of Industry Relations

Sneha is a 3rd Year Biomedical Engineering Major. As VP of Industry Relations, Sneha is passionate about making SWE as place for every member to grow their careers, technical skills and network. Sneha is passionate about hosting innovative and exciting events that cater to the interests of SWE members.

Society of Women Engineers

The Society of Women Engineers is a collegiate and professional international community of women who strive to Aspire, Advance, and Achieve in STEM fields. Since its establishment in 1958, Georgia Tech Society of Women Engineers has actively given women engineering students a unique place and voice within the engineering industry. Our organization is centered around a passion for our members’ success and continues to evolve with the challenges and opportunities reflected in today’s engineering and technology specialties.
